Project 1- Research in Asian Architecture
This project given us a wide range area for us to research , me and my groupmates decide on choosing the topic on Heritage & Conservation. Our focus of study is the effects of climate conditions of the wall of courtyard house in China. We divided to two areas of the studies which is south of china Li Jiang, north of the china Ping Yao. The outcome of the project let me more understand about the important of an architectural element in a building.
Project 2 - Contextual studies
Task:
- identify a building in Asia
Requirements :
- space , organiztion & access hierachy
- sky line , compression&height
- features related to the form of the building
- building material& system
-image making elements
- dimensions of history & social memories.
We have choosen Menara Standard Charted , Kuala Lumpur as our building .
