Week 12 - Progression on Final Video

This week we have start our shooting by testing different scenes. Shi Jie and I was divided our work to he prepared the props and I am the one who shooting.

We have done shooting on several scenes:

- Daily meals scenes

- Reading scenes

-Climbing staircase

- Depressed scence

Props that we need to prepared:

- Stationary

- watercolour

- spoon & fork

- small dustbin

- magazines

- mask

Our main cast is wearing a mask for all the time so here is the picture of mask:

It was so creepy when Shi Jie wearing this mask .

The difficulties when we shooting:

- When we shooting the scene of climbing up the stairs , I was fell down almost everytime shooting. It was hard to stabilized the camera while our actions is too big , I need to follow Shi Jie climbing up the stairs without watching in front of the stairs to monitor the screen. It was so difficult and we have try a couples of times to shoot it but if we have time we will shoot it again this scene.

- Eating scene is way more easier than climbing scene. All I need to do is holding the camera at the same spot no need to move . Let the cast to do action , I just need to adjust the settings of camera and stay still at the same spot with holding camera.

- Nothing is easy , we have try out few times to get the video that we want. Sometimes when we shooting, we face different problems such as the camera is stabilized but the actions is too big and cannot fit into the screen we need to think a good way to shoot it so figure it out by using different angle . When shooting is all about timing , we need to get the timing right so that it forms a way that we satisfying.
