This week we have been given an exercise with group which is shutter speed exercise. We need to shoot by low and high shutter speed , panning. Here are our exercise outcome:
1. Low shutter speed

I love this photo so much because the shadows of the main subject is very nice and our hand is moving at the right upper part shows a scene that she is not fear to the weird things. We have trying to shoot this picture with different low shutter speed and this is our outcome after trying it so many times.

This photo was cool because the hand movement was the point. As you can see the hand movement is from behind and move it in front to close the eyes.

This was using the flashlight to create the wings like butterfly . It was so fun and cool . A low shutter speed can creates many possibilities.
2. Higher shutter speed

This photo is shoot at the lake. We throw the stone into the water and the water splash . It was so beautiful and we need to catch the timing to capture it so have this nice outcome . You can see the water splash very high and highly contrast of the water .

This is an action when I flip my hair. The hair flow was very nice and the natural lighting is also nice.
3. Panning
The basic idea of panning is that you capture a moving subject along with your camera end up getting a sharp subject and blur background . We have trying to shoot this panning many times to get a better picture.

By using panning technique we can clearly know the object is moving . In this picture I was running and my friends help me to capture it. The background was blur and the hair is flying . It brings us the feeling of lively.

This photo shows the girl's action is jumping down . The background is more blur than the subject . We follow the steps of her jumping and shoot it down.
Now, I know more about shutter speed different shutter speed creates different outcomes.
Slow shutter speed is considered to be the slowest shutter speed that you can handle without introducing camera shake. We can use tripod to stable our shaky hand. Fast shutter speed is typically takes it for freeze action. This exercise was so fun and interesting. I hope that I can get use to this settings .
