Today we go to KL central and Wei- Ling gallery in KL by professional photographer . Another road trip for photography class for me was very excited but it is also a hot day for me. This The exhibition theme is Central market, Kuala Lumpur. This market was closed in 1895 . Those portraits are the traders and people in the market. Here are three pictures i like the most in gallery.

-Wong Chee Mun

This photo gives me a feeling of patriotic because he is doing a salute to the camera. He is also wearing a sarung and singlet and stand in front the 'Pejabat Dewan Bandaraya' . The salute makes me recall back the past of our nation fight for independence. He likes to collect military things like you can see he have binoculars and gun on his waist . I like his unusual pose. The door and the wall has a highly contrast because the shadow of the door is very dark and the wall is very bright. He stand a bit off center but the whole organization is nice.

-Tan Eng Hua

His pose was really catching my eyes and it attracts me at first. He is selling melon and different kinds of fruits so that the background is full of basket. His open arm gesture shows that he is friendly and kind . His position is in the center of the two basket . It shows balancing in this photo.

-Chicken Processor

This photo shows a group of people who work at chicken stalls . It seems that their relationship was close because they all are smiling at the camera. Their height position is in good arrangement. It will not show a part will be attracted while it shows they are standing in a natural way.

Here is the 5 photo that i shoot at Brickfields , Kuala Lumpur.

ISO; 100 , F: 6.3 , Shutter Speed: 1/ 200

This photo shows a worker looks to the right and he is holding a broom . I like his head is turning to right give me a feeling not so still .

ISO; 400 , F: 5 , Shutter Speed: 1/ 640

This photo is shoot unintentionally and he notice my camera. The whole background was clean and have some texture. He is walking while i was shooting so his body movement is natural in this photo.

ISO; 100 , F: 5.6 , Shutter Speed: 1/ 125

This is a man sitting there and having his coffee time . He suddenly smile to me so i can capture this moment. The background was decorate by some texture and naturally grown of tree. It gives me a feeling of peace because the old man was enjoy his enjoy in this hustle bustle city.

ISO; 400 , F: 5.6 , Shutter Speed: 1/ 125

Actually I follow this man to shoot him , at last he stop at a spot and start to take out his guitar and start singing with his guitar. In this photo he was tune his guitar and ready for singing and he in bare feet. Although there are a part in high exposure which is the right up part but the sunlight reflects on his shoulder was very nice.

ISO; 400 , F: 5.6 , Shutter Speed: 1/ 160

This women hijab pattern was very special because i didn't see before this type of hijab before . She was buying grocery with her daughter and she stop in front of the store to choose the things she want. It shows a woman ordinary lifestyle for me. It has a big contrast between the wall and fruits. Wall is darker shadow than fruits at the left bottom there.

ISO; 125 , F:6.3 , Shutter Speed: 1/ 200

This girl was very cute , she is following her mother but suddenly she turn her head and smile to camera . She still have ice cream on her mouth and holding a balloon . Her hair is naturally blown because of the strong wind .

In this trip, I was more familiar with the settings already due to the first trip . I was change my settings more quickly to capture all the moment . I still try to control my settings of the exposure of photo because it was hard to get use to it , we shooting outdoor then suddenly we walk to a place which is indoor so we need to get familiar with the settings. This is the hardest part for me.

That's all for today . Enjoy and have a nice day.
