Mr. Martin has taught us the manual settings of our camera which is aperture, ISO and shutter speed. First of all we have trying use the skills have been taught to snap in different aperture to know the differences of the photo quality. The best way to understand aperture is to think of it as the controls for the pupil of an eye – the wider it gets, the more light it lets in. This is I do a research after Mr. Martin taught us . Another is ISO which is to measure the sensitivity of image sensor . He say that outdoor we only use ISO 800 or 400 it is enough . The last one is shutter speed ; it was the length of time that the film was exposed to the scene you’re photographing and similarly in digital photography shutter speed is the length of time that your image sensor ‘sees’ the scene you’re attempting to capture.
Mr . Martin bring us to photography exhibition at CODA. He give us exercise on practicing the manual settings of camera which is 3 set of photos and choose 3 photos which you like the most in exhibition .
Here are the 3 best photos that I like that seniors work and description on those photo .
1. Dilarang by Jennifer

I like the shadow of the worker and plants that show on the wall was very nice . This was a candid photo while the workers is swiping because the broom was blur because of his movement. The big words on the photo especially the "H'' was bigger the other word shows the whole sentence is important . There was a highly contrast between the worker's shirt and the wall .
2. Staring into space by Chloe

The composition of the building was very nice. There is somebody come out and staring on
something makes me feel curious about what he was staring at. There are different tone of darkness in this photo . On the left side is brighter and on the right side is darker .
3.Neglected by Melissa

This photo was using the rule of third place the subject on the right side match with a clean background . The whole photo gave me a feeling the women is neglected by people . Some of the part of the wall is slightly brighter than another part maybe is the reflection of the light . It looks very nice .
Here are my 3 set of photo that is indoor , outdoor and in the mix of outdoor and indoor .
In one set photo we must have 3 photos which is under expose , normal expose and slightly over expose.
1. Indoor
Slightly expose:

ISO: 800 S: 1/250 f: 3.8
Normal Expose

ISO: 800 S:1/400 f: 3.5
Slightly under expose

ISO:800 S:1/650 f: 3.5
2. Outdoor
Slightly Expose:

ISO : 200 S:1/ 320 f: 3.5
Normal Expose:

ISO: 200 S:1/1600 f: 3.5
Under Expose:

ISO: 200 S: 1/ 4000 f:3.5
3. Mix of indoor and outdoor
Under Expose:

ISO: 200 S: 1/ 4000 f: 3.5
Normal Expose

ISO: 200 S: 1/ 2000 f: 3.5
Slightly Expose :

ISO: 200 S: 1/ 800 f: 3.5
After doing this exercise , I understand the main settings which is ISO , shutter speed and aperture will effect a photo quality easily. I also understand the relationship between this 3 major settings. I will try use to it for my assignment .
