This is the last assignment of the 2 D module . On this assignment I have face a lot of problems. This assignment is briefing about we must design our own monogram. Actually i have no idea of this final assignment until Mr. choy ask us to use our initial to design some pattern and i research about the monogram like some example by artist albrecht durer , some simple design by unknown artist. The monogram must can be related with your 5 items which have the meaning behind any items.
The practice of the monogram:

At last i choose this design for my last monogram and i develop into different design and colour, printmaking method. I choose this monogram is because it represent my first two initial 'L' and 'Y' .
This is my mind mapping of my final items. I have done my research use different surface of the monogram to stick on the items such as use a rope and glowing powder. As Mr. Choy said we can use Creative thinking skills method to play on the mind mapping not only words also with visual.

Following are my five items:
First item is my hometown map:

My hometown which is Kuala Terengganu the place that like village . The famous tourist spot of my hometown is Redang island .It is one of the largest islands off the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia. It is famous for its crystal clear waters and white sandy beaches. It is one of nine islands, which form a marine sanctuary park offering snorkeling and diving opportunities for tourists. The island is surrounded by crystal clear water and has various beautiful diving possibilities for the aficionados. You can also snorkel around the island; the coral reefs are in good health.Redang is a perfect area to dive. It is known for its amazing visibility and pristine coral reefs. During a dive you are able to see schools of jacks, fusiliers and trevallies, black tip reef sharks, humphead parrotfish, cuttlefish and turtles. There are even occasional sightings of manta rays and whale sharks. The island is also perfect for nice nature walks. At the resorts you can ask for a map on which all roads are indicated. For these walks the same rules apply as the ones in the jungle (with the exception of the necessity to protect yourself against malaria, which you don’t need in this environment); make sure you have an effective repellant against mosquitoes, and go well-dressed into the bush.
Another place is china town I'm pretty sure that every state will have a china town . It represent different chinese culture of every state . There some graffiti art ont the street and some of the street have their name such as batik lane , umbrella lane and others. Crystal mosque is also our tourist spot . This place is for muslim to pray and if another races wanted to go to visit must wear long sleeves and long pants to cover all your body parts to respect each other races. Rantau Abang is a place where the turtle would come to ashore and lay their eggs. However, the number of sea turtles that lay their eggs has severely decreased in recent years. This is the good experience to get near the nature know how the turtle lay their egg and remember the time they will come to the beach is in the midnight so please bring torchlight to see clearly .
Keropok lekor is a traditional Malay fish cracker snack originated from the state of Terengganu. It is also called fish sausage, fish stick, or fish fritters. It is made from fish and sago flour and seasoned with salt and sugar. It is slightly greyish in colour and tastes fishy.
Keropok can be cook in two ways which is steam and fried . Each way have their good taste . The other delicious food is 'nasi dagang ' .Nasi dagang is a Malaysian and Southern Thai dish consisting of rice steamed in coconut milk, fish curry and extra ingredients such as hard-boiled eggs and vegetable pickles. It is a well-known breakfast food in the states on the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia (Terengganu and Kelantan) . The most famous Nasi dagang of Terengganu comes from Kampung Ladang, an area within the Kuala Terengganu district. Nasi Dagang would not be completed without a portion of cucumber pickles on it. The pickles is a combination of cucumber mixed with reddish carrot and red chillies preserved in a vinegar.

The freshness of the ice cream make everybody love to eat and I'm pretty sure blue colour everybody will like it . So , I decided to choose this packaging.
The third item is Earphone:

Earphone is a necessity for me now. It was a connector connect music to our ear . Sometimes using earphone hear a music will be more clearly so it helps us to merge in the scene of the music. When in the bus it was noisy or too quiet i will put on my earphone to avoid awkwardness in the bus. It seems like a connector to different mood such as happy, sad and solemn . While i was doing my work i must have music accompany to done my work if not i will be distract by other things. It will help me concentrate one things for a long time so i can finish my work on time. Earphone will help us to avoid noisiness to other people so that we can hear music individually without disturbance.
Fourth item is artwork:

This artwork was combine the printmaking stuff . The A4 paper was cut in different shape because the paper is use in the item 1 the photo of my hometown. Then, I think will waste the paper so i decided to do an artwork. I create the composition of the shapes by paste the waste while i was doing printmaking such as some ink on the edges of paper so I cut it of and paste near the edges to form unique artwork. I repeated the process and it produce different masterpiece . I clip it all the artwork and you can flip the artwork until the end you will saw different artwork form each page. This make me remember every module have the connections between with each other apply the learning way into different module will have a good performance .
